Just got back to Edinburgh from T in the Park! I’m only staying in Edinburgh two days before I fly to Prague.. I like the fact that everytime I come back to Edinburgh the first thing I have to do is a massive load of laundry, I’ve practically been living in my suitcase the last month!
Also just found out that D*Starz swept a MASSIVE load of prizes for Cheer 2010 which I’m sooo proud of them for! I was in the team a looonglong time ago but the team loyalty never fades. And its so nice to see how far the team has come, from its humble beginnings its now becoming one of the superpowers in the world of Malaysian cheerleading! Anyway you can watch the video here, its amazing!
T in the Park was rainy, muddy, gross, and awesome all at the same time! Serves us right for going for a festival in Scotland.. Friday’s weather was beautiful but it literally rained the ENTIRE Saturday from about 4 in the morning to 9 at night! But all the acts I saw were soso good. I watched Temper Trap, Faithless, Muse, Scouting for Girls, Newton Faulkner, The Proclaimers, Vampire Weekend (who were reallyreally good!), Paulo Nutini (who was either drunk or high but was HOT), Stereophonics, Eminem and a wee bit of Dizzee Rascal. I watched soo much music on Saturday from a ridiculously good location that Sunday was sucha lazy day, only heard Dizzee Rascal for about five minutes and that was pretty much it. I missed out on David Guetta because they weren’t showing the damn football (its the fucking World Cup Final.. what a disgrace!) so Ben, Marie and I had to leg it to Kinross which was 15 minutes away.. Ended up watching the football in some random pub. No need for Paul the Octopus, the best way to predict which team will win is the team that I don’t support. But it was nice to watch Casillas bawl his eyes out when they won though =)
And my absolute favourite act the whole weekend was Eminem. Oh my god!! We all got separated but Alan, Ben and I had amazing views as we were all second row at different locations around the stage! We waited around 9/10 hours with no food, toilet and dealing with being squashed by about 80000 people!! But it was SO WORTH IT. He was absolutely AH-MA-ZING.. I’ve been to some really good gigs before and I was pretty sure nothing could beat Muse but I was so wrong! Best gig I have ever been to in my LIFE! Imagine 80000 people shouting out Lose Yourself and bobbing their hands and their heads, and the energy!!! He should just keep touring forever!
Rightey-o, a well deserved long hot shower now.. xx
